Jeff Simon, Realtor(B), Attorney at Law (California), C.P.A (California)

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, where he also played on the U.S.D. Men's Golf Team for four years. After graduating cum laude from U.S.D. with a degree in accounting, Jeff worked as a C.P.A. for Coopers & Lybrand in Newport Beach, California. In 1993, he graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School, then returned to California to practice law for seven years with the law firm Keesal, Young & Logan. There he worked with the business litigation group for the first five years, and then the corporate (transactional) department for the next two years. Jeff's parents (Dick and Anne-Marie) suggested that he join them in the family real estate business, and after having his two wonderful children, William and Katie, he decided to take them up on their offer. In 2001, Jeff and his family moved to Maui to join Simon Properties, where Jeff now serves as Principal Broker.

Jeff's professional background has enabled him to provide clients with a level of service beyond that which is typically provided by real estate professionals. His experience with complex legal matters, and in creating contractual agreements between parties where complicated legal and factual situations needed to be agreed upon and clarified, has repeatedly proven useful to real estate clients in negotiating and contracting around potential deal breaking impediments. Jeff's priority is providing excellent, responsive service to each and every one of our clients.

Jeff enjoys spending time with his children, coaching (soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf), golfing, and playing softball and basketball.

 

Anne-Marie and Dick Simon

Anne-Marie and Dick met in Boston. Anne-Marie was a newly graduated R.N. from Catherine Laboure School of Nursing, and Dick was in his final year at Tufts Medical School, Dick did his year of internship in San Francisco, and Radiology training in New York City, while Anne-Marie worked as an R.N., until the children arrived. The couple moved to Southern California, where Dick, then a Board Certified Radiologist, had a Radiology practice for about 30 years, with Anne-Marie often working as his Office Manager, while doing the suburban shuffle of kids to team practices and games.

After their purchase of Hawaiian vacation condominiums, Anne-Marie managed their personal rental activities enjoying her "side business" of A.M. Hawaii. When they decided to move to Maui in 1994, Anne-Marie, now familiar with condominiums, obtained her Real Estate License, and worked for a large brokerage, and proved herself very proficient, earning the "Rookie of the Year" award from the Maui Board of Realtors. After they were wooed to another large brokerage, where they were the "Top Sales and Production" agents for several years, they decided that their name recognition and client base were strong enough for their own brokerage, and they opened Simon Properties. With the addition of the strong talents of Jeff to the brokerage, Simon Properties, LLC. has shown increasing growth and steady, successful results.
